About your booking

How do I book? It’s simple.. Firstly please read our booking terms and conditions. Once done then please complete and submit the form on our booking page. We will then email you straight back and confirm if your dates are available and give you a total price for your stay. If your happy with the price and would like to procced we will then confirm the deposit required to secure your booking along with payment details. Once your deposit is paid we will then confirm your booking, balance due date and provide you will all the necessary information regarding your stay.

What deposit it required to secure my booking? We require 25% deposit on the total cost of the rental to secure your booking.

Is my booking deposit refundable? Yes your booking deposit is 100% refundable if you cancel your booking within 10 weeks of your check in date, 50% refundable if cancelled within 5 weeks of your check in date, but not refundable at all after that.

What is the property rental cost per night? The rental cost will vary depending on how far in advance you book and how long your stay is. As a rule booking direct on this website will cost you less than Airbnb, Booking.com at any one time. Check the current rates for the property on Airbnb and Booking.com and then we will confirm our rate to you once your booking form is received.

Where can I find your current availability before using your booking form? You will be able to see the currently availability of Jarrahdale by searching the property on Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo.

Can I change my dates once I’ve booked? It may be possible, but this will depend on other bookings that we have taken.

When do I have to pay in full? You will be required to pay in full no later than 5 weeks prior to your check-in date. If you have not paid your balance by then the rental dates will be released and your deposit cannot be refunded. For bookings taken with less than 5 weeks to your check-in date, payment in full would be required to book.

Is there any other costs ? Yes we require a £200 refundable security deposit on all bookings to cover any damage to the property. Once you have checked out and the property cleaned and presuming there are no major breakages or damage, your deposit will be refunded within 14 days. We understand accidents happen and will not charge you for the odd accidental breakages i.e. glasses, plates etc.

What time can I check in? You can check in from 3pm. Sorry no earlier as the property has to be cleaned to our very high standards.

When do I need to check out by? You’ll need to check out no later than 11am on your checkout day, as the property will need to be cleaned for our next guest.

I’d like an early check-in or a later check-out, is this possible? It may be possible but it will depend on other booking before or after your stay, please contact us.

About the property

How many does the property sleep? Jarrahdale Beach House sleeps 6 people plus 1 minor using the cot supplied. If you have more than 6 in your group, please contact us as we can arrange further accommodation within the apartment above which holds a further 7 people. This is obviously subject to the dates you require and whether there is availability in the apartment above.

Is the property child friendly? Although children are welcome the property is not child friendly. The property has many ornaments and breakable items, so children will need to be supervised at all times. The property also has steep steps to the front and rear of the property and has steps to the balcony. Children should never be left unattended at the property inside or out.

Is the property disabled friendly? Unfortunately the property is not disabled friendly due to it’s position on the steep hill leading down to the sea and the steps to enter the property.

Is the property easily accessed? The property may not be suitable for some older people, or those that are unstable on their feet. The property is accessed via steep steps both at the front and the back. Young children should also be supervised at all times.

Does the property have parking? Because the property is on the beach, the property does not have a private driveway, but there is free parking less than one minutes walk away in Ridgeway Cliff or Western Esplanade CT6 8JG.

Does the property have an EV Charger? Unfortunately Jarrahdale does not have an EV charging point and you are not permitted to charge your car from the domestic supply at the property. The nearest EV Charge points are at McDonalds CT5 3JE, Tesco CT5 3EE.

What is the bedroom layout? The property has three bedrooms and sleeps six people. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom two has a king size bed and bedroom three has two single beds, both these bedrooms share the family bathroom.

Exactly how far away is the beach? Jarrahdale is approximately three meters from the beach.

Are towels supplied? Yes bath towels and hand towels are all supplied along with bath mats.

Is bed linen supplied? Yes bed linen is supplied and all beds are made.

Are bathroom toiletries supplied? Shower, bath and wash hand gel is provided along with toilet rolls.

Are kitchen detergents supplied? Some washing up liquid, a few dishwasher tablets etc are supplied for short stays. If you are staying more than a few days please bring your own.

What kitchen utility machines are available? The property has a electric oven, hob and extractor fan, a fridge freezer, a washing machine and dishwasher. It does not have a clothes dryer.

Is there Tea and Coffee making facilities? The property had a kettle, a cafetiere and a Tassimo coffee machine. Please bring your own tea and coffee or coffee pods.

Does the property have a washing line? Yes the property has a washing line and indoor free standing drying rack.

Does the property have an iron? Yes the property has an iron and ironing board.

Does the property have a hair dryer? Yes there is a hair dryer in each room.

Is there a BBQ at the property? Yes there is a BBQ at the property. If you would like to use it the BBQ must only be used in the rear court yard garden. Please do not use the BBQ on the balcony. Please also ensure that you clean it afterwards, as cleaning is chargeable. Don’t forget to bring some charcoal and BBQ lighters.

Is anything supplied for dogs? Yes there is a dog box in the kitchen containing a drinking bowl, small food bowls, emergency poo bags, harnesses and leads.

Is my privacy effected by CCTV? The property is protected by a Ring doorbell at the front door and a Ring Camera on balcony steps. Both cameras do not effect your privacy.

About the guests

Who can’t stay at the property? We do not except bookings from a person under 21 years of age. The person booking must be 21 years or over and be present during the entirety of the stay. We do not accept parties over 6 people or all male parties.

Can I have my Stag / Hen Party at the property? I’m afraid we do not accept Stag and Hen parties at the property.

Does the property cater for young children? The property has a cot and high chair for young children. However, please check they are suitable for your children before using them as we accept no responsibility for injuries of any kind.

Can I bring my dogs? We accept two small well behaved dogs. By small we mean Chihuahua, Poodle size and by well behaved we mean dogs that are 100% house trained and that do not constantly bark. Bookings that include dogs are taken on the understanding that all flea and worming treatments are up to date. Please remember that your dog/s should not be left unattended in the property. You, as pet owner, will be responsible for removing any evidence left by your pet and reimbursing us for any damage caused, or extra cleaning required. Please show consideration for guests visiting after you have gone home. Please also note dogs are not allowed on the furniture or the beds. If your dog or dogs cause a nuisance to our neighbours, you may be asked to leave.
